Enjoy this season of festivities with songs that the whole family will enjoy. Crafts and activities will take place between 1 and 4pm where children can make holiday themed creations. For ages 3-10. Enjoy Menorah Madness with Joanie Leeds and the Nightlights, concert takes place at 2pm. Also, at 1:30 a family mini tour takes place.

$10, $7 children 10 and under

Members pay $7 and bring up to 3 children for free. $5 each additional child.

Visitors to the Garden State Discovery Museum can participate in Hooray for Hanukkah. Hooray for Hanukkah features Hanukkah crafts and children can hear Hanukkah stories, see concerts and participate in interactive performances. Children visiting the museum must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.

Garden State Discovery Museum offers a Buy one Get one Free discount on One Day Admission Passes for active or retired military personnel, disabled veterans, military reservists, spouses and dependents when valid military ID and dependent ID is presented.

Looking for a different way to spend some family time at Chanukah this season? Chanukah on Ice is a combination of “sparkling ice and a dazzling menorah.” Men, women and children are invited to skate to contemporary Jewish music and classic Chanukah songs. Also, make a take home Chanukah art project. Guests are also invited to watch the 5 foot tall, over 400 pound giant Chanukah Ice menorah being lit during the festivities.

$10 in advance, $12 at the door

Price includes skate rental, doughnuts and drinks.

The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County presents “Festival of Lights”-Songs for All Ages, performed by Sharim V’Sharot: People of Song. Under the direction of acclaimed Musical Director, Dr. Elayne Grossman, this musical celebration with a four part choir performs music from all eras in Hebrew, Yiddish, French, Italian and English. Guests are encouraged to donate a new or gently used children’s book to a child in need for the holiday.

$18 for non members
